David González Cuéllar
Businessman David González Cuellar, murdered on Tuesday in Tulum, Quintana Roo, was shot while enjoying a coffee in full view.
The attack happened in an establishment located on Satélite avenue with Okot street, in the downtown area of Tulum.
The images were captured by the establishment's security cameras.
This was the attack on the businessman at Starbucks in Tulum In the recording, David is seen sitting at a table and was talking on his cell phone, accompanied by another man, who apparently is Luis Carlos "C", the person who repelled the attack by the criminals.
Both were distracted and were using their cell phones when a person wearing shorts and a helmet entered.
The alleged offender posed as a customer and went to the line to supposedly purchase a product, then a subject dressed in black and with a white cap entered, with a weapon in his left hand.
At that moment, an employee realizes that the second man was carrying a weapon and ran into the store.
When the second offender entered, both subjects approached the table where the victim was.
The man dressed in black pointed the gun at the victim, while with the other hand he pointed at his companion. Luis Carlos tried to get up to remove a weapon from under his clothes, but was attacked by the man in the helmet.
Subsequently, the man in the cap shot at David, who collapsed, while Luis also fell from his seat but responded to the attack, shooting several times at the criminals.
Seconds later, he managed to get to his feet and began to chase them.
According to unofficial data, the alleged bodyguard has a shooting range in Cancun, and is allegedly originally from Chihuahua.
After what happened, the Quintana Roo Attorney General's Office opened the investigation folder for the murder of the businessman.
It should be noted that a subject identified as Luis "N" was arrested for the execution of businessman Daniel Cuéllar, the man is hospitalized.
