SINALOA, Mexico — Visual material published on digital networks captured the death of a former collaborator of the criminal group identified as "La Chapiza". The event occurred in the state of Sinaloa after the individual was accused of leaking internal security data to the rival faction known as "La Mayiza".
In the video recording, the victim appears tied to a tree trunk while being questioned by unidentified individuals. During the captive interrogation, the man stated he had previously worked with the organization linked to Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar. He acknowledged having supplied strategic information regarding the precise location and mobility of an operational commander recognized under the alias "El Señor 81".

The individual also mentioned during questioning that his son was involved in similar information-sharing activities aimed at passing operational data to the opposing group. However, the perpetrators noted during the recording that the son was not located at the time of the event.
Upon concluding the interrogation, the armed individuals poured fuel on the man and set him on fire, while issuing explicit threats directed at the leadership and structure of the rival criminal organization.
To date, state and federal public safety authorities in Sinaloa have not released an official statement regarding the discovery of the victim's remains or the exact geographic coordinates where the video was recorded.
