MIKE HOLSTON SURVIVES EXTREME ENCOUNTER WITH 19-FOOT PYTHON IN INDONESIA

American content creator Mike Holston, widely recognized on social media platforms as The Real Tarzann, recently documented a high-risk physical struggle against a large reticulated python (Malayopython reticulatus). The footage, which began circulating around October 12 or 13, 2026, shows the influencer attempting to restrain the reptile by the head before the constrictor wrapped itself firmly around his arm and both legs.

According to statements made by Holston during the recording, the snake measured approximately 19 feet (5.8 meters) in length and weighed over 200 pounds (90 kilograms). These specific dimensions and weights have not been independently verified by official wildlife authorities or scientific personnel.

During the interaction, which took place in an outdoor tropical environment with palm vegetation in Indonesia, Holston acknowledged the severity of the constriction, stating during the footage that he was losing physical control of the situation. Applying techniques from Brazilian jiu-jitsu, in which he holds a blue belt rank, Holston eventually managed to leverage his body weight to turn the python over, disentangle his limbs, and disengage without suffering visible major injuries.

"This was the hardest battle I have ever had with a snake," Holston indicated during the recorded footage, noting how close the reptile came to fully immobilizing him.
